BBC Last of the Mohicans
3 of 3 found this helpful I try to collect all variations of the Last of the Mohicans tale on video - starting with the silent, serialized, black and white version. All tell the story in a different way, and of course the Daniel Day Lewis vehicle of 1992 somewhat overshadows all others due to its cinematography, scenery, acting, costuming, music, etc. This BBC version tells a very good story, however. It is in the best (1970's) tradition of Masterpiece Theatre. I would recommend it for all you adventure/early American historical fiction movie lovers.

Good inexpensive winter gloves.
I bought two pairs of these due to price, and the fact that they are lined with thinsulate, and have gauntlet style covers for the wrists. I use them when I'm using my snow blower. So far they've been good down to 15 degrees F, but I have noticed a little bit of water getting in. In fairness, they are not marked waterproof.

Delightful, and fun for garden lovers and mystery mavens.
This is a very entertaining series of high video quality. Anglophiles will enjoy it. My Mom gives it a two thumbs up!Too bad they only made the number of episodes that they did.
