Beats alot of brands claiming to be better
Owned alot of sherwoods marantz denons pioneers over the years I use to collect them as a hobby. The 771 is really a diamond in the rough in terms of sound quality it's not the best of the best but it definitely deserves some credit as they are cheap to obtain And really any tower speaker within the price range of a 140 to 250 will sound good on it. I personally run four jamo S809s yamaha powered sub and a jbl center At about 25 to 35% volume And it jams through the trailer park Only downside is usually you have to find your own remote As a lot of them I've seen being sold the remote is missing. Otherwise it's been great.

Great and cheap
3 of 3 found this helpful Replaced old oem board with this and I can't complain it's got twice the mem capacity twice the pcie and it has pretty agreeable features only real beef is that it's a very large board had to go through some friends for a full tower case to fit it but I'm the end I'm very greatful for my purchase

Great card glad I replaced my Audfx with it
1 of 1 found this helpful Great buy for the price I replaced my audigy fx with this one and I'm quite pleased with the quality of sound. I have it hooked up to a vintage 500w pioneer amp with 4 technics 200w floor speakers and it jams something fierce. Though i will say if you have any sound card connected with using win 7 or win10 you won't get all the software expansion you want. You will want to be running win Vista or win XP to get full functionality out of this card and others. Win7 and win 10 just don't have a good sound engine so here's some healthy advice.
