My iPhone actually charges!
I'm a repeat customer for this product as it has worked in the past for me (Misplaced it). A lot of other USB Cig-lighters do not work. IDK why. This has 2 power output levels. One port can charge the device faster than the other port.

Phone Mount
Easy to use and holds the phone well. The mounting in the air vent is strong and secure and the platform legs work well to stabilize the entire mount. Question i had before buying it was, "How do the arms that hold the phone in place work?". It's kind of like a zip tie where you push in the arms to tighten it down, and the little ridges (teeth) lock the arms in place. You push a little button on the side to unlock the ridges (teeth) and manually pull out the arms to reset it.

Better than I had Expected
2 of 2 found this helpful The rain guard/visors are low profile, close to the windows. And it fits perfectly on a MK7 GTI. This one does not have holes/clips. Quality of material seems to be good.
