Great acoustic direct box
This unit is exactly what I needed to get that full, acoustic sound when performing live. Not only can you adjust the volume so there is no loss over an electric guitar, it has effects to fatten the sound to the room you are in, or outside. It also has different models of acoustic guitars from which to chose for the best sound to fit the tune.
I recommend it to anyone performing live or recording in a studio. You will love it.

Realistic Insight
This book is an excellent read to capture an insight into the 'real' life of a musician on the road to stardom. Most people's conception is that things are perfect when you 'make it' in the industry, Andy shows it's not reality. The underscore of this whole book is Andy showing the harsh reality of always giving up something to have something in this business. Also, you don't 'make it' without putting in the hard work to get to 'make it' and sheer luck is always a valuable asset. I loved having the ability to look into the life of one of my favorite musicians and how he thought as he climbed the road to success. It was was very refreshing to have a very sensible and thought provoking ending to the book...thanks Andy.

Beck fan
If you are a Beck fan, there is nothing to say. This is typical Beck with a little more personality. I can't say I care much for the singers ( their acting a little overdone), but Beck is his usual great self. It is worth seeing this and experiencing it.....
