Brews and keeps the tea hot until needed
This is my favorite way to make tea. I use the tea leaves from a half of a tea bag of my favorite tea. I really like the fact that I can brew it before I am ready to drink it and it will stay hot until I am through preparing the rest of breakfast.

All Things Wise and Wonderful (CD) by James Herriot
I had read almost all of Herriot's books many years ago. I loved them all. Listening to this one read by the actor who portrayed James Herriot in the TV series was wonderful. The change in voice for the different characters really added to the listening pleasure. It flows along and makes for very easy listening. It was easy to bring up pictures in my mind of the both events and the scenery as the reading went on. I thoroughly enjoyed this book on CD. The only thing I would have liked to be different is the way the readings were divided up in sections on each CD for tracking purposes.

So cute!
These potholders are really cute when they are finished. The dog design does not work super well with using the ear pockets for your fingers but they do work and you really don't have to put your fingers in the ear pockets to use them anyway. My hands are very small so that may be why I had a bit of a challenge using the pockets. Once I got one folded a little, I could use the pockets easily but I had to use my other hand at first to get them to start folding. Maybe as they are broken in more, they will work more easily. You do need to use the Insul-brite product to make them heat resistant. I did not use buttons for the eyes as I thought they would be in the way. Instead I just fused black circles for eyes. But really they are too cute and otherwise useful not to want to make them! Great gifts for all your animal lover friends/family!
