Excellent.

I bought a new PC and all of the connections are SATA. I had a bunch of IDE components left over from older computers and I wondered if I'd have to replace them all. Nope. I was able to plug the DVD writer in the new computer and it works great. I'm really happy with this purchase.

This saved me.

I thought i was going to have to throw my laptop away and then I found this drive. I watch a LOT of DVDs on my laptop, so the drive gets a work out. It's handled it beautifully so far. It was used, but it was/is still in excellent condition. Installation was simple (took about a minute) and it works great.
