Peyton Place TV Series
2 of 2 found this helpful There are so many outstanding performers who got their "big breaks" on Peyton Place... Mia Farrow, the lovely Barbara Parkins, and Ryan O'Neal. At the same time we were treated to the talented performances of those greats who had already established their careers...Ed Nelson, Dorothy Malone, Paul Langton, Mariette Hartley, Tim O'Connor, Gena Rowlands and Susan Oliver, to name just a few.
Peyton Place is "must have" to see these Hollywood stars in their prime of life.
I grew up with them and they will always be a beloved part of television's rich heritage, much like The HONEYMOONERS and The DICK VAN DYKE SHOW.
What I didn't like was the show's producer's "COP OUT" ending of the series. We saw Ed Nelson coming to Peyton Place in the very first episode, and five hundred thirteen episodes later we see him lying on a jail cot as an innocent doctor accused of murder. Poor "Dr. Rossi" never "got his girl" and apparently never got justice, either! There's just no excuse for ABC's blunder in not ending the series on an upbeat note!

GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN
Great cartridges - but now they are all gone! Personna bought American Safety Razor and have stopped making these blades. I am fortunate to have purchased the LAST ones available on eBay.
