This game is either hate it or love it. Game progression is very B-lined.
The Last Remnant is a game created in resemblance of final fantasy with the exception that it has an option to have multiple squads with which to strategize and coordinate your attacks with. The whole combat engine is a little weird however. For example: If you start out behind an enemy when you attack it you do not get a bonus to attack damage because your flanking that enemy from behind. What you get instead is both combat groups become deadlocked. There are some other small things that seem off while in combat but to list them would be unnecessary. This game in all is fairly ok though. You can do some really interesting things if you have the patience to make it through the game to those points in the story. If you have nothing else to do I would recommend getting this just so you have a quick time killer.

It's like asking for coke products and getting mud instead
I've never been a fan of button Mashers but because of some of the other reviews on this game I decided to give it a go. I've come to the consensus that I need to start watching more videos before dedicating to a purchase on a video game though because this game is absolutely horrible. The character looks are fine and the graphics are okay but the game itself feels like an extremely low budget knock off of Xenoblade Chronicles. The entire game is streamline to a very small series of Action commands and every single fight scene basically leads to an introduction to a new character with very little backstory between each one or any time to really bond with each character. Not going to say some people won't enjoy this game because the entire thing is a big ass fan service but for me I wish that I had been a little bit wiser on my purchase and just watched a few more videos on it ahead of time.

If you like the fallout game play style then add this to your collection
If you played all the previous fallout games i would gladly recommend this addition to the collection. Unlike fallout 3 there aren't to many addons out at the moment but this game, like the other fallouts, had a lot of game time due to numerous side quests and random game play. if your a fallout fan then definitely add this to your collection.
