Dr. Don Hemmes, a local, living in Hilo, Hawaii, and Dr. Desjardin, award winning professors, have produced a beautiful and informative book on the mushrooms and other fungi of Hawaii. Almost 400 color photographs of beautifully photographed fungi and local regions of Hawii are a treat for the eyes, for local Hawaiians, and even just those who love Hawaii!! Not only are the mushrooms identified, regions described, but a chapter on edible mushrooms, with recipes, and an excellent bibliography complete a great book. Highly
