Great little reliable laser printer
1 of 1 found this helpful When my 1996 Optra E finally gave up, I was surprised to find a couple of the later version Optra E+ up for auction. This printer is still available from office supply websites @ $100-$160, and extra memory, toner and replacement parts are readily available. I was lucky enough to be the top bidder on this one. At 600 dpi and about 6ppm it is just right for my home office: Compact unit, small desktop footprint, clean prints, and -- when I finally get around to swapping the extra onboard printer memory from my old Optra to my new Optra E+ -- it'll do a reasonable job with big graphics. But I don't do any photo work with this -- mostly just letters, reports, and other typical office stuff, which is what is was made for. I can only hope these little beauties are still around when this one wears out in another 10 years! For its intended use, I give it a 10 out of 10.

Excellent.
Been using this stuff for years to save all sorts of clothes from the scrap heap due to minor rips, etc. Properly done, stays stuck thru many many washes. The secret is well attached round corners on patches, and reglueing edges that start to come up occasionally..

Food socks, except
I usually buy Hanes crew socks, but thought I'd give FOTL socks a try. They're very similar and quality seems fine, EXCEPT they are somewhat shorter - maybe an inch - on my ankle. Not a deal killer, but not quite as nice for me.
