Lovely tone, good bargain.
3 of 3 found this helpful Gorgeous eye-candy with classic archtop sound, the kind of sound you dream of from an archtop. I think Chinese-made maple guitars use Chinese maple, which would make sense. All of my Chinese-made maples have an incredible sound that I prefer to other maples. To my ears, the sound is distinctive and full, even from the laminates. I replaced the nut for two reasons. First it was slotted too high, making the strings too high off the first fret. Secondly, the nut width is only 1 5/8". There is room on the frets for a 1 11/16, so I installed a properly cut 1 11/16 bone nut. It works great with the neck and fret width. You have to closely feel the sides of the nut to tell that it is not the original size. The only other setup needed were slight repositioning of the bridge and raising the bridge slightly. The neck has a great feel and is a joy to play in spite of the fact that the the profile is a little old-fashioned compared to most modern instruments. Surprisingly, the pickups have a generously open sound that fits right in with my idea of the perfect archtop tone. I have numerous archtops in various price ranges beginning in the thousands of dollars. I place this third in sound and second in playability, exceeding far more expensive guitars on both accounts. It is truly a joy to play and hear.

Strong and well made.
This product is very well built of stainless steel. The hinge appears to be be very strong and should last much longer than the aluminum type.

Great Mower.
This riding mower is very sturdy and well built. Works great. Near zero turning radius. With the blades engaged it is fairly loud, but not nearly as loud as a gas engine.
