Excellent Lead Crystal Glass
This podstakannik lead crystal glass is extremely high quality- but for a very reasonable price. It is cut crystal, with a lovely and intricate design. Intended to sit in a worked metal podstakannik, the glass is also eminently suitable to be used as a water glass by itself as part of a formal dining setting- but is sturdy and of a good size to use for any occasion. I highly recommend the glass for a multitude of uses.

Looking for affordable Warhammer 40k Imperial Guard? Look no further!
1 of 1 found this helpful I have been wargaming Warhammer 40,000 as Imperial Guard since 1989- right back to the Rogue Trader days. I've been appalled for the last 10 years at the price of basic infantry- made of plastic, no less! I wouldn't pay those prices for pewter.
So I'm happy to recommend the entire line of Dream Forge Games Eisenkern (Iron Core) trooper figures. This particular set represent basic infantry, and work great as either flak armored or carapace armored troops (depending how you paint them). The castings are plastic, but incredibly detailed and the resolution is very fine. The plastic is very hard and takes paint well. The multi-part figures can be posed in many configurations and the weapons and accoutrements swaps are nearly endless. Basic instructions come with the set for assembly, but your imagination is your only limit. Each figure has its own base. Be advised: these are 'new' 28mm figures, which means they are big (about 30mm) and might not blend with older figures that are 'truly' 28mm (back in the day, those 28's were billed as 'big' 25mm!) The set comes with the ability to distinguish rank and file troopers from squad leaders/command type figures, and the weapons included are shotguns/assault rifles, submachineguns and Panzerschrek/RPG-style rocket launchers. This set has enough pieces to make two complete squads of Veterans, or a 20 man 'infantry blob' under the new rules set.
And the value is fantastic- the troops come in at a fraction of the cost of figures available from other manufacturers.

Great detail piece for 28mm vignette
This piece by Armorcast is excellent- nice clean casting that can be adapted to a number of purposes. It is a bit small for a large artillery piece in 28mm (like the Warhammer 40k siege gun) but is just right for the quad barrel artillery piece, an autocannon or even a mortar.
Even based on a game-size stand, this detail piece brings a scene to life and captures the gun at the moment of firing.
Check out their other 'muzzle flash' castings- I've also used the RPG set (two pieces- muzzle flash and back-blast) on a Warhammer missile launcher conversion- great piece of eye candy on the table.
Great value for the price, too.
