Another great Rock Candy Remaster
Great album, nice extras. The Rock Candy remasters are among the very best.

Radio friendly DP with some quality tunes
This album is knocked a great deal for being too AOR, but Joe Lynn Turner and Blackmore work and the king of dreams and fortuneteller tracks are good (especially if you are a fan of the "perfect strangers era like I am). I can't decide if Blackmore gets enough credit or if he is overhyped, but I can still hear the emotion in his playing here though some might complain it is too polished. I've liked all of the DP lineups for the most part, so I'm not going to knock it just because there is no Gillian, Coverdale etc. Check out J.L. Turner singing on Yngwie Malmsteens Odyssey if you like his voice, that is another outstanding album. Funny how Yngwie denied the Blackmore influence when the kept using the same singers (G.Bonnet etc.) on various albums.

Some gems, some throwaways.
2 of 3 found this helpful I'm not a rabid Motorhead fan so my rating is more for the "I'm so bad baby I don't care", song and a few others. The whole attitude that comes out of Lemmy and group is great. I would probably rate this a 3.5 and recommend you start with Ace of Spades if you are new, but this is some quality British hard rock that came out a few years before grunge killed everything. The 1916 song is a bit annoying, but overall a great listen.
