Pump works as designed
It does what it is supposed to do. Not actually necessary if you buy the hand pump which you need regardless, but the electric one does speed up the process of inflating a kayak once you get down how to get the valves closed quickly. Advanced elements valves work much better by altering the pump fitting with a couple nested pieces of tubing, but that is tough to explain but I am shocked Advanced Elements have not figured it out on their own as the hand pump is infinitely better with about 15 cents of tubing stuck inside the fitting. Just shows how lame engineers can be in the end
