Save your money

I preorderd this book in the late 80s/early 90s. £10. The book turned out to be a great disappointment. It was not proof read and some of it is complete nonsense. It is quite inexecusable to continually spell people's names wrong. The early chapters up to and including the Battle of France and into 1941 are not too bad. The rest is worthless as a reference book and it is not indexed anyway. In defense of Mr Finn, the author, it was not his fault. It was the publisher who wrecked the project.
