The Thinking Man's Cartoon
1 of 2 found this helpful Futurama is the essential cartoon for those viewers who ask a little more from their shows. While many see Futurama as the 'American Dad' of the Simpsons, (Simpsons creator Matt Groening created Futurama) Futurama is not just a few quick laughs but instead offers four seasons of character development and, unlike other cartoons of its kind, a serious romantic touch between its two protagonists Fry and Leela.
Season Four is the last volume until Comedy Central releases its new seasons and offers some of the more serious episodes with more to offer than simple laughs. Of course, this season also houses some of the funniest episodes ever, and at its end Futurama fans will feel a certain sense of finality with the show... until the new seasons come out soon!
