Outstanding film all round!!
What a brilliant film!! A young Christian Bale shows his outstanding abilities as an actor and John Malkovich is, as always, excellent. The story of a young boy, Jim (played by Christian Bale)and his struggle to survive in Japan in WWII.
Well worth watching and get the hankies out at the end.

Hibiscrub-Excellent!!
4 of 4 found this helpful I always keep Hibiscrub in at home. It's amazing stuff and has many uses. I tend to have Cellulitis on my legs and wash them with Hibiscrub in the shower. I also use it to wash my Spaniels lip folds, very diluted..50 parts water to 1 part Hibiscrub. It also disinfects earrings ect. Extremely good price from this Seller too!!

Although an old film, historically correct and extremely well acted.
1 of 1 found this helpful I have always been very interested in the Tudor era and after watching the Tudors Series I decided to follow through and get this film. Although old, its very good and historically correct - the acting is excellent. I felt it didn't quite portray Sir Thomas Moore as the religious man he actually was, but showed his determination not to support Henry VIII's divorce from Catherine of Aragon - the trial and Moore's execution was outstanding. This film is a must for any Tudor fans....thoroughly enjoyable.
