Works great but with caveat (new items or items not washed with other cleaners).
0 of 1 found this helpful Used this to waterproof two of my smocks - one new one old and had been laundered before. The waterproofing on the new smock worked as expected; on the old one, not so much. There was another reviewer who mentioned items need to be properly prepared, i.e. cleaned with the tent and gear cleaner. If I had used the cleaner before I put on the waterproofing on the old smock I wouldn't have wasted the material and effort. The tin only says 'if cleaning is necessary, use Tent and Gear cleaner' - they should change this to 'if the material has been cleaned or laundered previously, you MUST use Tent and Gear Cleaner before using the waterproofer'.
