American Flyer GP-20 Diesel Engine
Item is new, looks good, and performs well; it is solidly built and should last a long time. Engine runs smoothly and responds easily to speed changes.

Items look good, but require careful electrical installation.
The lights look great and can be adjusted to heights applicable to several model railroad scales. The main disadvantage is each light has to be wired with an in-line resistor between it and the power source to prevent too much voltage from surging to the light. Any excess voltage will "blow out" the bulbs because they are very sensitive. Amateur electricians will likely destroy one light for every three that work successfully.

Perfectly cut pieces make kit easy to build.
Kit went together nicely, even the complex waterwheel. I was able to get the model to look somewhat like the photo provided of a real mill in Massachusetts.
