Good scanner and printer but the scanner recovery time seems long.

Overall, it is a good device. My only issue with it is the scanner. It seems to take a long time to recover between scans. If I am scanning from the ADF, it seems like part of the recovery cycle is for the device to run the scanner head from the ADF scanning position, to the end of the flatbad and then back again. This seems like an unnecessary cycle.
