2 of 2 found this helpful Just a note for those who may have this problem, I had to struggle to get my Windows 7 pro OS to wake up and respond to the card reader's insertion of the adapter, and it couldn't have been the memory card/adapter, as it was brand new. And, it couldn't be my computers hardware, as it's all new too, an i7 quad core (16GB memory) running at 3.9 Ghz. This is an issue with windows (stating it is 'write protected' when it WAS NOT). So what I did was simply just keep 'ejecting' using the windows menu in Computer - navigating to the drive letter and right clicking for the 'eject option, which wakes windows up and forces it to respond to the task at hand, stating the msg 'safe to remove' - then doing this up to 10 times repeatedly inserting and ejecting until windows gets the idea that we need more options on the menu, like allowing to copy, delete, etc, which when it thinks it's 'write protected' still, then will not have copy and delete available in the menu (when adding music and files from the PC onto the card). When windows wakes up finally, the card can do it's most awesome...now using in my Samsung smart phone, but can use it over and over again in anything needing a micro size card that can handle this amount of GBs. This memory card has the newest standards, very nice! I bought two at the same time...

1 of 1 found this helpful I am very happy with three purchases of these cards at this price, but as usual, things arent perfect with what gets pumped out by the manufacturer at the factory, and the adapters are always incompatible one way or another upon insertion into a laptop or PC slot card reader. Its not the actual micro sd card itself at issue, as these are brand new sd cards that come with adapters, but there is quite often a problem with the adapters that come with it, as it was with another brand new sd card and faulty adapter that I also bought recently which I tried in many different card readers with different adapters to make it work. But, it is still very much worth the price to buy it if you can use some other micro sd adapter that has already been proven to work in card readers. So, the fix is to just find a micro sd adapter that does communicate with the laptop or PC. Everything is always fine with the sd card, just the usual adapter issues. No biggy if you know how to do a workaround. Great price and fast shipment and service, much appreciated!
