Filled with a plethora of vitality and energy.

The usage of the authentic cannons adds a marvelous depth and tremendous resonance to Dorati;s exhilarating performance. The bells that are dramatically performed are an exquisite addition. I have heard other interpretations of "1812" but was virtually blown away by the cannon blasts utilized by Anton. Startled yet thrilled and very elated. Whoaaaa Nelliee!

If you enjoy instrumentals. this is a must have!

Disc is very clean and sound quality is superb. The big band sound of the '60's is carried well with Si's booming trombone. Several good renditions of big hits are a bonus.
