lightweight winner!
i now own 3 rtx 30 spinning reels...2 on rods and 1 in the box as backup in case i run out of line on 1 of the other two...combined with a fantastic lightweight rod (h2o 6'8" ethos inshore), it's the strongest featherweight combo of all time! i also use nanofil 17lb dark green line...this is the best setup i have owned...check it out...

Get a bunch!
All my reels are Okuma! I have 4 rtx 30's which are light as a feather and perform like a tank. Recently purchased 2 Helios 40's and they are amazing in the salt!

my favorite topwater!
lake bastrop, texas...summer heat...powerplant lake, and the water temp is upper 90's...throwing a certain brand of top lure...catching 3-4 a morning...guy at the ramp suggests a heddon spook in clear! started catching 16 a morning! then i happened to be at cabelas and saw the yo zuri in clear...literally doubled what the heddon was doing! i had 59 topwater strikes one morning! now, what i do is remove the prop so the lure will walk, and add a trokar size 4 wide gap treble...clear really seems to be the color that works best, but all the colors work! get the new 3dr series!
