Poor quality although great at first
Poor quality, did not hold up very well. It looks good and worked well when new, but the stainless steel rusted badly. I ground off the corrosion on the blade with my Dremel tool and spray painted the blade just to help it resist rusting. It worked for a few years but eventually the rubber in handle crumbled and it wouldn't stay secure in the sheath. There is a small steel coil spring which engages the plastic catch which holds the knife in the sheath. It rusted to the point that it broke so it would not retain the knife in the sheath. The catch worked great when new. The rubber in the handle felt great when new, but it disintegrated over a period of five years. Maybe if I had flushed it with fresh water and dried it soon after, it might have lasted longer. I don't think there is any help for the rubber in the handle over time. I thought about wrapping the handle with cord to take its place, but the broken catch on the sheath was the last straw. Given the low price, I might buy it again since I only scuba dive once a year.

Could be better
1 of 1 found this helpful The two jaws didn't align well enough to grab the plug by themselves. A small screwdriver for the initial pry and needle nose pliers for the final pull would work. This works better than pliers, but you still need a small screwdriver for the initial pry. If the jaws were aligned better, this would could do the job by itself.
