AMD Phemon II X4 945 3.0 GHz
Great CPU for old AM2+/AM3 motherboards you might have laying around doing nothing. I have one powering my FreeNAS box and another running Linux.

Good board for older AMD CPUs but read the CPU list first
Runs most AM2+ and some AM3 CPUs up to Phenom II X4 945, but won't run higher Phenom II X4 CPUs like the 960T even though other AM2+ boards will (e.g., ASRock) so minus 1 star. Too bad because it has 4 DDR slots so you can load up on old 1 or 2 Gig DDR2 memory modules to trick out a Linux or legacy Windows machine. I'm using it with a Phenom II X4 945 and 8G RAM as a FreeNAS server. Working great so far!
