awesome product. great for the money
I bought this product because we like the movie. I like that it is a dvd rather than a vhs. One comparison is the price. Couldn't find the movie cheaper anywhere else. That is an old movie, didn't want to pay new price.

Inspires confidence at address.
1 of 1 found this helpful Modern yet traditional with a solid feel that transfers to good distance control. Also feels correct at set-up and looks good to my eye. Sits square on the ground and pretty easy to tell if the blade is not square to the line. Very nice swingweight and pretty cool looking besides all that. Like it!

KENWOOD VR 606 5.1 surround receiver.
Hi. This is my about my 5th stereo upgrade of receivers covering a span of 35 years, from 16 to 51. This is also my first KENWOOD product. I took a chance and bought this damaged but in working order as described on ebay. It had obviously taken a hard blow. When I received it, I could hear the loose pieces inside when I picked it up. I took the cover off and shook all the broken pieces out, then figured out where they went like a puzzle and used a good clear adhesive to put it back togther. After it dried I removed any excess glue and did some touch up sanding, removed the cover again taped off what I didn,t want painted and spray painted it with some rustoleum gloss black. It looked great except for the front KENWOOD emblem which I assume was lost or broken when it was damaged. Of course before I did all this I powered it up to make sure all the functions worked like they were supposed to in the owners manual. When I hooked it up two days later to my system my whole family could tell a BIG difference to the surround seperation and quality from my old TECHNICS receiver with regular dolby surround sound. Both receivers pushed the same power but the speakers and subwoofer became more alive and enriched with tonal quality. We are very happy with this upgrade and it was well worth the repair effort. I think it says a lot that the interior was intact with so much exterior damage. The case and the inside brackets absorbed all the impact. That is good design and engineering. This gets it an excellent rating from me and if you get this or a similar KENWOOD receiver I hope you will be as happy as I am with it. Thanks for reading, Bill.
