True story, good pics
Great book, well written, moved along and was a true WWII event!

Too simple for adults, great for kids.
It was a good story but it could have been told in a 4th grade book. They kept repeating the story from slightly different angles and it got boring.

Parable style
It is a typical Steinbeck parable type story. It’s fine. It is short.
