Quicken 2007 Mac Import Does Not Deliver. Does Deliver if Looking to Start Fresh
Information on internet said Q2007 would import older versions of Quicken. It only goes back to 2004. I purchased to convert Quicken 5 (1996 or so). Q2007 will not read the data file or recognize or read the QIF file from Quicken 5 (it is greyed-out). I wanted to import my old files, but if I choose I can start fresh with Q2007, in which case it would be a welcome upgrade to my Quicken Deluxe, be on a more stable machine, and not have to deal with the Quicken Mac issues on newer versions and the constant nagging to upgrade and pay an annual contract fee.
