Sony MDRZX750BN Wireless On-Ear Headphones Bluetooth and Noise Cancelling

Top of Its Class Sony MDRZX750BN

There are things that I really liked about this pair of headphones, and one thing that I didn't, BUT, that issue is that it's not an over-the-ear -- but that's the MDR770 model, and it cost over $200, so I don't have a leg to stand on when this is barely over $100 (and for a good deal, sometimes under). For a bluetooth noise cancelling set with all the features this has to offer--it's steal. This set is another Sony, very well made, quality product. The noise reduction works well enough, not as well as the older versions that basically shuts you off from the outside-your-headphone world, but you can definitely tell the difference. If you're trying to drown out an oncoming train, good luck. This is not the set you need, but it does a wonderful job of drowning out day-to-day ambient noise. All of the functions are accessible from the headphones: play, ff, rew, pause, power, on/off noise canceling and volume; heck, you can even answer AND talk on the phone. There's no need to be fumbling with your phone or whatever device you decide to connect it to. It also has the tap-connect function (NFC support), so if you decide not to use the bluetooth for some reason, you can connect with NFC function or just do it the old-fashioned way, plug it in with the auxiliary cable (aux). I'm usually very critical of the least little thing, but in this case, my only concern is addressed in an upgraded model. For the money, this set is at the top of its class.

Gerbing G5 Hybrid Heated Gloves - Very Warm

Pros: They are extremely warm even without being turned on. Warm once turned on. Craftsmanship is excellent; it's definitely a well-made piece of equipment. Comes with all the hardware to heat up [not the controller though] Can be powered by both the motorcycle's battery as well as Gerbing's battery pack (that's why they are called hybrid) Cons: The controller does not come with it and costs $50 extra. Battery packs are sold separately - along with the mono controller, it costs an additional $150 (two batteries, charger, and mono controller) Sizing is a bit difficult to pull off. There is a learning curve - you must get used to the thickness of the palm leather. These are gauntlets, so depending on the size of your jacket, you can tuck the sleeves in. I have even considered wearing them on a cold, winter day because they are somewhat fashionable. I'll definitely recommend it for anyone who's considering getting cold-weather gear.

I'm A Believer

I first saw this product at the airport in Hong Kong a few weeks ago, but I decided to wait until I could research it more before I spent this much on a water bottle. First, I read a LOT of reviews on several different websites, and after much debate, decided to try it. Well, I'm a believer. But, I decided to put it to the test before writing a review: I filled it with ice; turned it upside down and kept it that way for hours; laid it on its side, and lo and behold, it did NOT leak. Oh, and that 24 hour claim is very inaccurate, it kept ice for almost 72 hours! I had to open the lid and pour more water in there multiple times to get the ice to melt. I cannot attest to how long it keeps hot products because I'll never use that feature. As far as the stowing of the lid goes, that is my least favorite feature. But, if they'd never mentioned anything about it, I would never have fooled with it in the first place, so that wasn't enough to warrant taking off an entire star since it does so many other things well--I'd actually rate it 4 3/4 stars. Between the capacity, compact status and its ability to keep the cold liquids cold, its tough and rugged exterior, this is one of the best water bottles I've ever owned, and I've owned about two dozen of all different shapes and sizes over the years.
