Awesome solution if you can find one!
This is without a doubt, the BEST solution I have found for connecting liteally ANY phantom-powered, high-end Mic to your Apple Mac computer - It provides zero-latency monitoring via the headphones port and the conversion is VERY clean!

iPad Air 2??
Just an FYI - the only reason I held back on a 5-star review is because you will need to do a few alterations to this to make this work 100% for the iPad Air 2 - but it's completely doable and the effort needed is totally worth it considering the price.
