My JUNE/2022 Starbucks Espresso Roast whole bean passed CO2 test
May 12, 2022- Taste great, so I did the CO2 Test. Sample passed.
Going to buy another to save on food budget. It will surely last 6 to 9 months past best use date of JUNE/2022.
Note- beans are not pristine, quit a few broken. OK by me.
Put half a cup of my purchase in freezer bag, burped out air sealing it and leaving over night on desk. Next day beans had gassed off some CO2. filling 1 gallon freezer bag. Rolled bag carefully toward beans and air was enough to puff up last 2 inches or so.
