Old Beaver Reduced Trigger Pull Spring
2 of 2 found this helpful I just replaced the trigger springs on 2 of my Ruger American rifles. The factory adjustable trigger on my .243 would not go below 4 pounds of pull. With the new spring from Old Beaver, it is now set at 2.5 pounds of pull.I will be hunting with this rifle and even though it will go down to 1.5 pounds, this weight is perfect for me. My other Ruger American is the Predator in 6.5 Creedmoor. The pull on this rifle would not go below 3.14 pounds of pull. It is now set at 2.5 pounds as well. It took me a grand total of 15 minutes to change out both springs and reassemble both guns. A simple and easy way to make your trigger lighter and crisper. I will be ordering two more for my 30.06 and .270 Ruger Americans as soon as i finish this post.
