Decent quality, horrible execution and instructions.
Very excited to receive these brackets until I saw the directions. There’s no video link either at kuryakyn or anywhere else I could find. The directions indicated the brackets be mounted underneath the current driving lights bracket on my 2015 Indian Chief Vintage. They were far too thick to fit without bending OEM parts and that’s a no-go.
I ended up attaching them outside the bracket and am disappointed at the look of them on my bike as the mounting bolts that are OEM protrude with these brackets installed rather than being recessed. There are no additional bolts provided. Regardless of how the brackets were mounted, these bolts would have protruded.
So, no, I would not recommend these to another Indian owner. Although they appear to be sturdy and a good value, at the end of the day they denigrate the amazing styling details Indian worked so hard to perfect.
