Approach Tom Browne and buy his CD!

This is a great CD. Funkin for Jamaica (the single) apparently haunted my days of youth until now. It is a classic example of funk, soul, early hip hop and overall music. Amazingly enough the REST of love approach is not like that. Rather it turns out to be one of the true building blocks of modern jazz. Too bad today's commercial jazz is not as memorable as this CD. Anyway. Tom Browne turns out to be a very cool musician, who has a way with a tune, and this time has created a gem of music from a time which I can still call both innocent and dynamic.
