Tricky but Effective
No instructions so it did not become natural until the 3rd wheel & tire. Note that this was a very thick combo 14-15" ring on a 15" rim. Have to use tire machine to get it onto rim.
Limit use of lube. Inflate tire until bead catches rim. Reduce inflation pressure to allow pulling ring to release then re-inflate.
Works good when installing stiff sidewalls and tread on a wide rim. Saved my bacon when a outer band would not work on agricultural rims without a bead lip! Thinner rings for specific rim sizes may be easier to use and just pop out during inflation. Very tough rubber.
