History of philosophy
Application of metaphysical concepts, by some early luminaries, to some aspects of the mystery religions. Specifically the therapeutic effects of death and rebirth mystical practices. Highly recommended.

Book of the Dead
1 of 1 found this helpful Another classic by the English mystic, freshly re-published by Weiser this is one of the Society of Inner Light best spiritual "how-to" books. In a very succint way Dion Fortune explains the mystery of death and its normal and pathological variants, with the object of educating the public on the importance of a good death, and the transition to "Purgatory" and "Heaven" by the discarnate soul. Highly recommendable as a basic modern esoteric text in easy to understand language.
