Superb Sony stereo
2 of 2 found this helpful Great purchase all the way around! Quality Sony cassette/cd/radio players are impossible to find. I am glad to have found one. Sound is superb; loudness is more than adequate. A lightweight yet solid sturdy unit -- unlike the modern cheap, flimsy stuff. I am very happy!

Clean sound, zero static!
I don't think a basic radio can get any better. It is kind of large, but the benefit is the effortless sound output. The tone switch is subtle, but does make a difference. And you can forget batteries and plug it in!! But the best thing: the tuning is so fine that with most stations there is total clarity and NO STATIC. Amazing radio!

Excellent organizer!
This device may be tech from 20 years ago, but it has a great functionality even today. It holds memos, phone numbers, addresses, etc. It has a great calendar that goes till 2099! If you can get one with a non defective screen (missing pixels can develop), then go for it! It's really refreshing to use a device that runs on 2 AA batteries and needs no recharging.
