A Book Every Person Should Read
4 of 5 found this helpful After reading this book I felt as if I should get out more. It seems that in everyday life we really don't see what is going on in the grand scheme of things in the world. This book left me moved in a way that no other book has. I felt the pain of each indiviual in this story, leaving me in shock at the end of the novel. I feel every learned individual should do themselves a favor and read this treasure of a story. This book changed the way I view world events and the people that i will never come in contact with.

Historical Figures Come to Life!
4 of 4 found this helpful I like a good read and this book meets the Criteria. This novel has been put into several genre's and in my mind it only meets one. This can only be described as a Historical Fiction. You get a real glimpse into some of the most influential figures of our past. Without all the boring text book information you got when you were in school. The Characters in this book are vivid and very entertaining. The one thing about the author is he has a very good vocabulary and I found my self going to a dictionary every few pages. If you like a good historical fiction this book is for you!

This book is as interesting as it is intense, if you are a fan of Clive Barker you have to read it! Rich in plot and detail, it will leave on the edge of your seat, and wanting more with each page. I couldn't put it down!
