MOTUL 7100 4T Full Synthetic
1 of 1 found this helpful I use Motul in my four bikes. They take different viscosities 10W40 in my air cooled Ducati, 10W50 in my water-cooled 888 & Multistrada, and 20W60 in my MV Agusta. It's great oil, especially when you get it for a good price on eBay. Even the 5100 semi-syn is 80% synthetic stock. Both have Ester and both surpass OEM spec. You can't go wrong.

Make your life easier
It’s pretty simple, if you’re installing a new head unit in your car, but the harness and make your life easier. On this one, it had some extra wires that didn’t match up to the factory harness. So either pull them, cut them or just tape them off. But everything you need is there...and then some. These harnesses are what the pros use. While you’re at it, learn to solder and use heat shrink vs butt-connectors and electrical tape. Your installations will be MUCH cleaner.

Ducati oil filters...
All Ducati filters are the same. My '93 888, '96 Monster and '10 Multistrada all use the HF153. The Ducati part numbers have changed...but they're all the same. Save some loot, buy the HiFlos. With oil changes it's less of what you use and more how often you do it. I've seen Hiflos at dealers so I know they're up to the task. At this price get a few, and keep them in the parts bin, they don't go bad. If you need to safety wire the filter for the track, use the Hiflo HR153. Rock on.
