Failed after three days
I received the battery about three weeks ago. I was busy and didn't install it until three days ago. Today the computer made a popping sound and turned off abruptly, even though the battery was not low. When I plugged in the AC adapter and started to boot up the computer, a message said the battery had failed permanently and needed to be replaced.

Fine so far, but we have to wait and see how long these last and still hold a charge well.
