Easy repair
The product is well made with very clear instructions, if you take your time it's a piece of cake.
It takes a afternoon to get the sub out, remove the bad surround, install the new surround, and then reinstall the sub. Better than spending the ridiculous amount of cash for a new sub.
Hardest part of the job is getting the sub out.
