Ok axles but weak retaining ring

Axles seem to be ok. The negative thing is the retaining ring that keeps the axle in the differential is weak. Had a axle slip out while my son was riding the four wheeler. Re-installed and and could easily pull back out. Noticed the ring could easily be compressed all around the splines. Had to use a ring from my old axles. Hoping it doesn’t happen on the opposite axle.
