Billy Bathgate DVD

I love old gangster movies and I rate this one as one of the best. The crime mobs of the teens, twenties and thirties were all Jews. They were in every major city of the U.S. This movie deals with the New York City mob of Dutch Schultz (Dustin Hoffman) and his sidekick Bo Weinberg (Bruce Willis). Nicole Kiddman plays the gangster gal. This isn't a new movie, 1991, I think. The best of period correct settings, clothing, furnishings, etc. give the viewer a step back into the past of a young United States. Highly recommended.

I still prefer BlackBerry

My wife had just upgraded to the 9650 and a week later it was unavailable. I was happy to find myself a new one on Ebay. I don't want a super phone that does everything but bake cookies, thats why I'm pleased with BlackBerry. This model is heavier than my old outdated BB and just feels good in my hand.

Cosmos by Carl Sagan

I had this 13 hour collection on VHS but considered it too important to entrust to magnetic tape. So, I had to get Cosmos on DVD. You see, this is something I wanted to have for the rest of my life. It is timeless knowledge, science at it's best, eloquently presented by the late, brilliant, Carl Sagan. It's not for everyone but if you have substance between your ear's, the importance of this creation will be obvious to you, too.
