Doesn't work on my Kenmore sewing machine -- despite the advertising.
0 of 1 found this helpful This zipper foot is billed as a good fit for a variety of sewing machines including Kenmore -- it is not. I have a Kenmore model 1521. When I installed the zipper foot provided, I found the needle didn't line up with the cutout when the zipper foot was set to the left of the needle. Instead, the needle hit the zipper foot. I was unable to adjust it to make it work. The zipper foot only works properly if it's set to the right of the needle. A zipper foot is supposed to work on either side.
The part might be warped. The foot seems be leaning slightly away from the shaft. Perhaps quality control is the problem. Whatever the cause, the zipper foot is unusable on my Kenmore sewing machine. And given the corona virus, returning it will be a real pain.
