The best submarine game out there. Loved it.
I had longed to get a PC to enable my ability to play flight simulators for some time, and when I went on a year long Army deployment I bought a laptop to take with me. While in the Middle East I whiled away many hours playing this game. The renditions of WWWII sea ships is perfect, and visual, sound, and interactive effects are top notch. I found the game an extremely enjoyable variation of hunting games that are popular with the PC. The game is not perfect with some image glitches, and minor freezes in action, but the edge of your seat action as you find yourself desperately waiting for the torpedo room to load another round while on the surface enemy destroyers close in keeps your heart racing. I was well satisfied by this game, and the levels of difficulty, and authenticity keep it as action packed, and detailed as the player desires. It may not appeal to everyone, but it is the best value for anyone who likes this kind of game, or would appreciate a flight simulator thats in a class of it's own.

Although quite dated in it's information it is still an exellent read.
The Florida Gun Owner's Guide by Bloomfield Press ranks second out of twelve such books I have read in it's informitive content on Florida gun laws. The first is John Gutmacher's, Florida Firearms:Laws Use And Ownership, which was written in a less technical layman's language so it is a little easier to digest for someone who isn't a lawyer. This is still an exellent guidebook for gun owners however, with it's simple explanations of some of the more vauge Florida gun laws, and should be added to your reading list if you own a gun in Florida. The book is one in a series of state gun law books with editions for Virginia, Arizona, Federeal law, Texas, and others from the same publisher, and has some very distinct adavantages not found in the forementioned Gutmacher book. One, this book contains all of the current Florida state stautes(Albiet, 1998 laws as of it's last edition which change sometimes over the years.)unaltered while giving a run down explanation of what each legal term means. Two, it also includes quizes in the book making the understanding of the material fun while demonstrating real life situations an armed citizen may encounter for the reader to think about in comparison to the legal ramifications to gun ownership. Third, legal commentary about then recent Florida state gun laws explaining why such gun laws when passed may, or may not work, and how it relates to the reader's situation. The book covers multiple gun useage variables like hunting, lethal defence, concealed carry, home defence, vehicle transport, and reprecusions for unlawful firearm useage, and is a must for anyone who wants to know how to use a firearm legally in Florida. My one great failing for the book is that the publisher's last printing was in 1998, and it desperately needs a new printing to keep up with the common changes in Florida gun legislation.

Love the Canon Selphy line. Best in the market of portable picture printers
I was given a Kodak Easyshre printer as a gift, and loved it, but found it limited in what it could print from. So I upgraded to a Canon Selphy printer when assigned as a unit photographer in the Army. During a year long deployment to Kuwait I printed out over 2000 pictures on my Selphy to give to soldiers to sent home to their families, and for three years it has been going strong. The KP-108IN refill packes were indespenseable in value as the individually wrapped cartridge, and paper packs kept the desert dust away from the pages until used, and while expensive, were easily obtained in bulk orders from Ebay to fill my needs.
