Pen and ink
2 of 2 found this helpful Excellent quality item. Well worthy of its 5 stars. The box is well made and has room for the original inks and a couple more. The pen is of good quality as are the nibs. Ideal for the Newbie of Caligraphy. Or as I do, paint in inks. They are rather translucent when being applied, either by nib or brush, these adaptable inks become opac once dry. You recieve the primary colours with two metallics Gold and Silver. These are the only ones that need to be throughly shaken or stirred, as they separate quickly once finished with. With a brush they are as smooth as butter to apply, the same with the two nibs I've tried. I would certainly buy this item again, and most certainly recommend it, as a gift, either for ones self, or another.

Artist Worksation
1 of 1 found this helpful It arrived well boxed. Quite heavy, and somewhat bulky. As I had ordered an A2 size, it was to be expected.
Made from wood, a bar rests on wooden slots, care must be taken to ensure when setting up the incline, that both sides of the bar are placed into the slots on either side, so it is held safe and secure. Ideally, this Workstation is for adults, however, if used by children, supervision is advised, as it can trap fingers. Care must also be taken by people like myself with Arthritis.
It has a good amount of movement, from flat to fully upright. Allowing the artist to find the most comfortable incline in which to sketch or paint. It's suitable for table top use only, it isn't designed to be placed on your knees, a pillow, or to be set up on an easel. It also isn't designed for field work. A flat desk, big enough to set the Workstation up on, with a good amount of space around it for brushes, paints, pencils, etc, is the safest way to use it.
It is a plain piece of wood, with a 1 inch lip that runs across the bottom, this allows you to place a paper pad or canvas onto the board. To help keep work in place, artist tape maybe used to secure paper. Used flat, paint and inks can be place on it, however, there is nothing to place them securely onto once the Workstation is raised.
In conclusion, a well made piece of kit. Allowing for artists to find a more comfortable way to complete their projects. Can be used by both professional, or hobby artist for a reasonable price. Care must be taken when setting up or altering the Workstation. The A2 size is relatively large, though a smaller one A3 is also purchasable. Though an adult item, child can use it, though due to weight and size of the Workstation supervision may be advisable.

Golden
This is my second purchase. This is an art supply that I first bought 2 years ago, and use at least once on a weekly project. An art supply which can be translucent and opac depending on how much water you add, which is why I have it as one of my 'go to' items. It has a good selection of golds including a silver, and they can be mixed to create various hues and shades of gold. It goes on smoothly, however, it takes a little practice time to get used to the way the paint lies. It can look streaky especially on larger areas, I've found layering helps eliminate some of the issue. It's drying time depends on the thickness of the paint, and surprisingly it goes a long way. After using many varieties of gold paint, these are some of the best I've found for the price. I highly recommend this item.
