Still A perfectly usable iphone
The IPhone 4 is still a perfectly usable smartphone even when it is 6 years old. Just have to bear in mind the phone is not going to be as responsive as more modern iPhones.
Unless you've previously downloaded apps on your Apple ID (and therefore can download older versions that work with IOS 7.1.1) you will struggle to find apps that are compatible as the vast majority of apps require at least IOS 8.
With these limitations in mind it obviously won't compare well with newer smartphones but as a second phone/first smartphone or for a light user it still works well enough.
The battery life is ok but I've found is very dependant on usage and especially screen brightness and whether Bluetooth is enabled. With near full brightness and music playing over Bluetooth the battery life is not great but the battery capacity isn't massive anyway so this is to be expected.
Overall a decent iPhone that can be picked up for cheap these days and as long as you know it's limits, drawbacks and have a little patience it will serve you well. Love mine was worth the £55 I paid without a doubt

Does the job
After searching around for ages I came across this power adapter. Been using it with a mini fridge which obviously wouldn't work with the low power adapters. This adapter works fine and means I can happily use my mini fridge indoors :)

Great controller
1 of 1 found this helpful Good quality NES style controller, been using it with a PC emulator and it works perfectly fine, easy to configure the controller input in the emulator software. Quality of the controller is also of a high standard, obviously you can tell between this and an original one but haven't encountered any issues when using it. Bargain :)
