Defective and unsafe design
3 of 3 found this helpful Somewhere in the ad for this product I missed the "need for assembly" part, which was readily clarified when I opened the box and several hundred pieces fell out! Nonetheless, my low rating is based solely on its defective and potentially hazardous design. The problem is where the top cabinet attaches to the base. Even after correct placement of the bolts and flimsy dowels, there is very little lateral stability and I believe the case could collapse when it is moved. I was able to remedy this by attaching heavy duty metal corner brackets at six locations on the back. Finally, many of the markings for screw placement are incorrect. Although I was able to assemble it alone, I strongly recommend help and allowing extra hours to correct its poor design.
