2 of 2 found this helpful Bought this to connect to a Channel Master DVR. Easy to connect but had to let the DVR reformat the HD to Ext4 which is a Linux standard format. That's OK because I use Linux on all my computers so I can use the HD as a backup if needed. Don't know if it would work formatted as Ext4 on Microsoft or Apple. Was hoping to copy recorded files to my computer and play them as videos but the recorded files are ***.ts and haven't found anything to convert these to *.mp4 or other standard video files. Haven't look very much so that may still be possible. Anyone know of a converter app.
Good little HD and worth the money.

Ideal case for me
Thin case but still protects phone. Leaves the edges of the screen accessible unlike Otterbox's thick sides. Have had Diztronic cases on other phones and really like their designs.

Channel Master has made two products I like, this DVR and a mast mounted pre-amp for over the air TV signals. Both high quality and work well. Not inexpensive but worth the money so far in my opinion.
