Replacement part for 99 Ranger 6X6
The Part looks good. Measurements are almost exactly the same as original part.
Have not installed it or tested it yet.
Will report on performance in the fall after we see how it stands up to use.

Comments from an experienced user.
For more than 20 years my crew has used radios of this type for communication while afield. I have purchased radios from different manufacturers over the years but have found the Uniden units to be among the most reliable. We needed to add 2 units for this years last outing so I purchased 2 of these MHS75's.
I was disappointed to see that there was no AC charger with them. The 12V chargers worked well but we were not properly equipped to charge both units simultaneously.
The radios worked well and the audio reception was clear, the large well lit screen was easy to use and they functioned well. Range in the rugged terrain was excellent up to 3 miles was no problem.
The battery life was my only concern. While the unit never went dead, by the end of each 10 hour day the battery level indicator was indicating only 1 bar while transmitting on 5 watts and there was concern that full transmit wattage was not being achieved. Some of the more distant people in the crew had difficulty receiving messages.
I believe that the batteries may improve with use but if not that would be my only criticism.
I will be buying more of these to replace aging existing units as we use these in remote regions and do require reliability above all.

Make sure you get all of the components of the parts you purchased.
It was exactly the part I was looking for. When I got it I put it right onto my Right Front wheel. It snapped onto the wheel really easily. I then drove the vehicle about 10 miles. When I reached my destination I went around to check my new centre cap and to my surprise it was missing. I immediately retraced my route but the cap was no where to be found. Wondering how this could have happened I remove one of the other caps and noticed that there was a metal ring inside of the clips which had not been present on the one I purchased. The metal ring acts to support the retaining clips and without it the caps literally fall off the wheels. So that was what happened to the centre cap I purchased. It was a good part but not complete. There fore the rating I awarded.
